IAB Level 3 Certificate in Computerised Payroll

Computerised Payroll module is designed to test candidate’s ability to operate a payroll system within an Information Technology environment. Candidates will need to have completed the Level 2 programme. Students will be given training in the use of Sage Payroll. In addition to performing the functions outlined in the manual payroll candidates are expected to be able to do the following:

 Create a company and data files
 Enter company details relevant to payroll
 Set up Government legislation (Tax and NIC bands and rates
and other statutory parameters
 Create payroll records for both weekly paid and monthly paid
employees.
 Prepare year end runs
