Computerised Book-keeping (Level 3) is aimed at the person seeking a second qualification in the practical use of computerised accounts. This will be a valuable certificate to complement Book-keeping and Accounts Level 3. Potential candidates should have an adequate understanding of the terms used in basic book-keeping.
The aim of the course is to enable candidates to undertake the following accounting tasks using Sage Line 50:
Enter cash, cheque and other bank transactions, e.g. Standing
Orders
Correct errors by means of Credit Notes or Journal Adjustments
Enter Tax Reference Codes and/or percentage, i.e. Value
added Tax
Produce a Trial Balance
Produce an Audit Trail
Produce an Aged Debtors Schedule
Produce a Supplier and Customer Account History
Prepare Bank Reconciliations
Undertake Year-end runs
Duration: 4 Months
