The IAB Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Book-keeping is aimed at individuals who may have achieved a level 2 or 3 qualification in manual book-keeping and wish to extend their studies to computerised book-keeping, or individuals who are working with an accountancy software package and want to gain a qualification which demonstrates their competence. The aim of the course is to enable candidates to undertake the following accounting tasks using Sage Line 50:  Add new accounts in Purchase/Sales Ledgers  Create accounts in the Nominal Ledger from given information  Process information in respect of the Sales Ledger, i.e. Invoices, Credit Notes and receipts  Process information in respect of the Purchase Ledger, i.e. Invoices, Credit Notes and payments  Calculate and reconcile all Batch Totals as required  Print out copies of ledgers, balances and accounts as requested Duration: 4 Months Award: IAB Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Book-keeping Exams: January, June & On-Demand
