This half day course concentrates on the verbal techniques that can be used in order to de-escalate potentially aggressive situations. The course covers some of the behaviour & triggers that may cause an individual to behave in a violent and aggressive manner and the communication skills that are required in order to safely de-escalate such an occurrence before the situation becomes physically violent. This course does not include any practical breakaway skills and is based on theory only. |
