RT has spent many years researching various methods and systems of self defence. This unique system has been taught to the FBI, US Marines, Hong Kong Police,CIA and within the secret service. The system has developed and been adapted specifically for Close Protection Operatives and the simplicity and effectiveness of techniques can only be appreciated by demonstration.
This is a course specifically designed for the modern CPO and everything taught is based around what works in reality as apposed to what looks good or flashy.
An automatic response is essential in such circumstances as you will not have the luxury of time to think!
You are unlikely to have the luxury of being in a gymnasium that has mats, or be wearing gloves and pads when you need to use your skills, this is why we train all techniques in a realistic environment finely balancing safety and realism.
As a professional bodyguard we feel it is important that you are prepared for every eventuality.
However unlikely it may seem it is vital we can respond in any given situation in order to protect your principal and this includes dealing with high risk combat situations.
3-Day Course
This 3 day course covers the basics you need to know and is included as part of the 21 day Close Protection Course. This will give you the base from which you can develop your skills over time and give the option of attending the 5 day advanced course which many people do.
After completing the 3 day course or the 21 day CP course you will receive a certificate “Introduction & Basic Unarmed Combat Techniques for CP”.

Controlling an attacker
3rd Party defence
Multiple assailants & teamwork
Subjugation & low level physical skills
Dealing with weapons attacks
Moral & Legal consequences
Confined spaces & environmental issues
Controlling the principal during an attack.
