Duration 21 days (3 Weeks Residential) Location Standish, Lancashire Dates 30th July - 19th August 2007 (Full) 3rd Sept - 23rd Sept 2007 (Limited Places) 5th Nov - 25th Nov 2007 4th - 24th Feb 2008 17th March - 6th April 2008 23rd June - 13th July 2008 11th - 31st Aug 2008 6th - 26th Oct 2008 24th Nov - 14th Dec 2008 Accommodation 20 days accommodation and use of swimming pool, gym and spa is included in the course fee. Meals Breakfast and evening meal is included in the course fee. Minimum requirements You must be at least 18 or above and should hold a full Uk or European driving licence although if you do not hold a licence you may still attend the course and apply for a licence. As laid down by the SIA candidates must show that they hold a valid First Aid at Work Certificate Ideally with 6 months validity at time of course, any candidate that does not hold a valid certificate should contact us for further training options as this training can be undertaken in the evenings of the course, or prior to course start date at an additional cost of £150. Candidates must be of reasonable health and fitness levels due to the nature of the course. Valid Passport is required for firearms training course. Examination Examination is by way of multiple choice question paper and successful candidates will achieve a BTEC Level 3 Award in Close Protection Operations and will be eligible to apply for an SIA licence. Fees A non refundable deposit of £500 will be required within 1 week of booking to confirm your place. The full course fee must be paid 3 weeks prior to course commencement or your place may be offered to another.
