Participants will able to:
Ensure operational plan is developed in consultation with authorised personnel and site supervisor
Identify workplace hazards and implement appropriate control measures
Conduct pre-start and post operative equipment checks in accordance with manufacturers specifications
Understand and apply correct methods of communication with authorised personnel
Carry out correct deployment of outriggers in accordance with manufacturers specifications
Operate the crane to raise, move and place loads, using all relevant crane movements
Perform parking and shutdown procedures.
A Certificate of Competence and ‘ID card’ will be issued to successful applicants.
