In this 5 day intensive practical plumbing course you will be allocated your own training bay. The course will start with an introduction to tools and equipment, then you will be given an insight into hot and cold water systems. After this you will be introduced to the different types of pipework and fittings then using these fittings you will construct a loop of pipe work which you will then connect to a water main and test for leaks. When you have mastered the use of pipework and connections your work will be put into practice in your purpose designed training bay by installing a toilet, bath and sink using the methods previously taught. You will also be taught how to fit, drain and remove radiators, install washing machines and waste systems, garden taps, showers and kitchen sinks. You will also be given a basic understanding of heating systems including combination boilers. In your training area you are closely monitored by our highly experienced plumbing instructor to help you along your way.
