An introduction to life-saving procedures of resuscitation, care of unconscious or bleeding casualties as well as more common injuries such as burns or bone and muscle injuries.

Who is the course for?

Any individual wishing to gain a working knowledge of basic first aid treatments. Also suitable for 'Appointed Persons'

By the end of the programme delegateswill have:

the ability to prioritise and manage an accident
the ability to safely give initial treatment to shocked or unconscious casualties
demonstrated resuscitation on a manikin
the ability to control and start treatment of bleeding, burns, bone and muscle injuries
develop skills to protect themselves and the casualties.
