Managers are frequently in situations where an understanding of negotiation would be beneficial, either face to face or by telephone, with external organisations or with their own colleagues. They may work in a variety of different areas and require negotiation skills for different reasons; increased budgets, trade union negotiations, project deadlines or in a purchasing situation for example. This course will teach delegates a range of skills and techniques for use in any negotiation situation. Enabling them to use practical skills to conduct win-win situations and mutually acceptable outcomes. Delegates will learn different strategies and techniques that they can use in negotiation situations.
