By the end of the programme, the candidate will be able to understand: -
Health and safety requirements placed on employers and employees;
Hazard and risk and the main causes of harm to workers;
Health, safety and welfare provisions in the workplace;
The importance of following safe systems of work, procedures and rules;
Hazards and controls in respect of both safety and occupational health risks;
How their actions can reduce risks to health and safety.
There is a short multi-choice test at the end of the course. Candidates are required to correctly answer 20 out of 30 questions in order to achieve the CIEH Certificate
