2 Hour Epipen (Auto-Injector) Training Course

This course is ideal for those persons nominated to administer (or assist in administering) Epipen & JEXT auto injector medication in the event of a casualty suffering Anaphylactic Shock. The course is delivered on-site in a relaxed, informal & supportive learning environment. Because the course duration is only two hours, it can be delivered during term time, ideal for ensuring that “New Starters” are trained in order to provide immediate cover.

The course covers the recognised treatment protocols and students practise the administration of Auto-Injectors on each other utilising “Training Units”

NEW! ONLINE AVAILABILITY & BOOKING

Unlike other training providers, we do not issue a “Certificate” for just attending our Auto-Injector Course course. We require our delegates to demonstrate the core skills and knowledge required to effectively & efficiently administer the Auto-Injector during the course. This standard is achieved through repeated treatment training exercises utilising the training pens / units. We feel that this ensures our delegates have increased confidence to take prompt & confident action in the event of being required to administer the Auto-Injector to a casualty

DURATION: A two hour course consisting of theory and practical work.
CERTIFICATION: Although there is no formal assessment for certification, the trainer will assess each individual, on-going throughout the course, issuing a certificate based on the core skill & knowledge demonstrated during the course. This qualification is valid for a period of twelve months.
NUMBERS: Class sizes of 2 - 12 students can be accommodated on this course and must be aged a minimum of 16 years or above.
PRICE: See Below, Group cost for 2 - 12 students, which includes registration & group certification. Also, the price you see below, is the price you pay, regardless of location, no extras added!

In addition, our intensive “hands-on” course also includes C.P.R protocols, as we feel that all nominated persons should also be competent in C.P.R, as we recognise that some anaphylactic casualties may collapse and stop breathing.

We limit class sizes to a maximum of 12 delegates for this course, but are able to deliver multiple courses at the same site for which a discount is available.
