Kevin Cummins
Brief: Outsiders, People who are not easy to categorise.
Kevin will be focusing on capturing portraits of alt-culture types, which he identifies as those who may look confrontational due to their style of dress, their uncompromising attitude, their facial piercings, their tattoos. Kevin's aim through this workshop, will be to show you how to work with all sorts of people. How to break down the barrier of the camera in order to build up a relationship with your subject and how to get the best out of them.

Manchester born Kevin Cummins has an international reputation as one of the world's leading photographers. Jez Coulson

Brief: Jez Coulson, photojournalist and reportage artist, will lead this workshop exploring the dynamics of reportage photography on the streets of Manchester. From the central St Annes Sq Markets through some of the smaller out lying street markets "The Economics of the Street" workshop will seek to explore the life of the City through the commerce conducted out on its streets.
