The course runs for 12 weeks, twice a year, with examinations taking place in January and June.
It is aimed at students who wish to extend their studies and gain a qualification which demonstrates their competence.
Prior knowledge of computerised software is essential, preferably Sage Line 50 which is the software used by Partners in Training.
Students have the opportunity of practising on past papers with model answers and will also be expected to do some background reading and research in their own time.
All candidates who achieve a Pass grade will be awarded an IAB Level 3 Diploma in Computerised Book-keeping
