Description:
The essential requirements of safe working procedures on High Voltage (HV) Electrical Equipment and Systems as required by the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

Training Purpose
To provide the student with the necessary skills and practical awareness necessary to carry out the duties of an Senior Authorised Person (Electrical) to enable them to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. The course concentrates on the practical and procedural aspects of safe working on electrical equipment.

Students are continually assessed both in written and practical exercises. The assessment is given to students and is available to Authorising Panel Engineers.

Who would Benefit
Suitably experienced personnel who are being considered for the duties of Senior Authorised Person (Electrical) or Authorised Person (Electrical) with respect to HV distribution systems.
