All courses prepare fully for the three examinations set by the DSA for qualification as an approved driving instructor. Study is self paced and delivered in a variety of formats, including online study and practical in car tuition where necessary. Most courses enable the student to complete study and exams whilst in a current full time occupation. No overnight accomodation is required as all practical training is delivered locally.

DSA qualification as an approved driving instructor, three parts:
Part 1 is a theory exam covering all aspects of motoring law and practice, highway code knowledge and methods of instruction. Preparation is usually by means of distance or online study with expert tutor support.
Part 2 is a practical test of driving ability. Preparation is by means of online or distance learning coupled with practical in car tuition.
Part 3 is a practical test of instructional ability and technique. Preparation is by means of online or distance learning coupled with practical in car tuition.
