Clothing has over 8 years history in developing our own in house brands as well as supplying garment printing and manufacturing services to businesses to teaching the arts to school leavers to graduates. So unlike most educational institutes we do not teach parrot fashion as we teach from many years of ‘hands on experience’.
Commercial fashion differs from Couture Fashion as we simply train our Trainees how to make garments in a commercial manner. One way to describe this is that we do it in the same way as Prime Mark, New Look, Adidas, Nike etc there is no cutting or sewing or pattern making etc. We train people how to print ready made garments in the UK as well as how to manufacture off-shore like the big corporate brands. “If you cannot beat them join them” is what we tell our fashion graduates.

Outcomes of courses:
• Learn and develop your own Garment Printing service: You will learn Screen printing / Vinyl, Flocking, Foil printing / Transfer printing / Sublimation printing (You can earn between £20 to £60 plus per hour)
• Develop your own Fashion brand / Fashion service to sell to local, national and international markets (If your brand becomes internationally recognised then earning potential is unlimited). By developing a Fashion / Garment Print service you have another avenue to create revenue by providing printing (manufacturing) services to your local, national and international markets
• Learn Graphic design (elements) in order you can design and develop your styles, designs, prints, own business stationery. You can also offer design services to clients, general printing and basic web services (dependent on skill level)
• Learn how to develop your garments abroad with offshore factories from choosing a factory to sending them the all important specification packs. Other knowledge includes quality control, negotiating, to shipping and clearing merchandise into your home country and exporting out to other countries as well as exhibiting. (Earn from part time to full time £30k to £100k plus per year dependent on individual skills)
