Outline of Course
This course applies the basic principles of Teeline shorthand which is based on the alphabet and demonstrates how to reduce words to a skeleton form and then reduce again into a Teeline format. This course is not designed to teach shorthand in its entirety but to use the foundation stones of the system to build up a vocabulary of simple words and phrases which can be adapted to the needs of the individual in areas where note taking is essential. The study of shorthand and development of speed can be progressed to an Intermediate or Advanced level if required on completion of this Level One course of study.
