If you are already using Teeline or Pitman 2000 shorthand and want to increase your speed or if you are rusty and need to wake up your dormant skills, this is the course for you! This course will help you develop your speed, dexterity and mental word-holding when taking dictation or notes. You'll work through various speed levels spending approximately 10 hours on each level to achieve your goals. The course offers use of dictation material with varied content e.g. literary; parliamentary and company reports; commercial; general interest etc. Some theory and practice work will be required outside of the time spent at the training centre.

We offer a self-paced training environment with award winning tutor support, so you'll always have the confidence of knowing you're being looked after. In fact, we have recently won the award for "Best Pitman Training Centre!" You can start this course at any time and create your own flexible timetable so you can study when it suits you - great if you're already working! We're open from 09:00-18:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 09:00-20:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 10:00-16:00 on Saturdays, so it's really easy to fit your studies around your other commitments. You'll enjoy lots of tutor support at our training centre which is 1 minute from Notting Hill Gate tube.
