7. Crisis Management and Public Affairs

This session examines the range of ways in which public affairs can manage, minimise, contain and even prevent a crisis situation. Highlighting real life case studies and the best practice guidance which can be drawn from them. the session looks at an area in which first hand experience can be rare. It includes advice on developing a strategy and the role of public affairs in dealing with events extending beyond the scope of engaging with government and its processes.
