Problem Solving & Creative Thinking

The workshop aims to introduce the concepts of problem solving and how to properly apply them.

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

•Understand exactly what a ‘problem’ is and know how to develop clear objectives to see their way out of the problem
•Think more imaginatively by applying a number of tools which help them widen their creative thinking
•Understand and apply a whole range of quick and easy to use problem solving techniques
•Use a variety of flowcharts to improve processes
•Appreciate the key concepts of ‘tampering’, ‘Profound Knowledge’ and ‘system thinking’.
•Understand the key concepts around measurement and the use of Control Charts
•Know how to apply the team problem solving approach of Kaizen
