No previous knowledge of first aid is required to attend this course.
Candidates must attend all sessions to progress to the final assessments and be physically able to carry out the tasks contained within the syllabus.
On completion of training, successful candidates should be able to:
■ provide emergency first aid at work;
■ administer first aid to a casualty with:
injuries to bones, muscles and joints, including suspected spinal injuries;
chest injuries;
burns and scalds;
eye injuries;
sudden poisoning;
anaphylactic shock;
■ recognise the presence of major illness and provide appropriate first aid
(including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes).

We are able to deliver these courses at your suitable training venue within Gloucester & Gloucestershire. This includes Colleges, Academies, Universities, Schools, Factories, Work sites and many other venues from as little as £95 pp.
Course timings for each day:
To suit client but must be no shorter than 6 hours per day contact time plus a further 90 minutes for breaks.
A typical day would be 09.00 to 16.30.
