No previous knowledge of first aid is required to attend this course.
Candidates must attend all sessions to progress to the final assessments and be physically able to carry out the tasks contained within the syllabus.
On completion of training, successful candidates should be able to:
■ provide emergency first aid at work;
■ administer first aid to a casualty with:
injuries to bones, muscles and joints, including suspected spinal injuries;
chest injuries;
burns and scalds;
eye injuries;
sudden poisoning;
anaphylactic shock;
■ recognise the presence of major illness and provide appropriate first aid
(including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes).

Further Details
We delivery monthly courses at our partner training venue in Gloucester City Centre. Easy to reach by train & bus and only situated 5 minutes walk from both. If traveling by car there is ample pay & display parking only 2 minutes way.
Course timings for each day:
09.00 to 16.30
Lunch is provided as part of your course along with light beverages.
Bring a notebook & pencil and wear light easy fitting clothing as this is a very practical course requiring you to kneel or lay on the floor.
