What you will study

The workshop will focus on the following:-

NATURE AND CONTEXT OF PROJECTS

* The purpose and structure of a project
* The business contexts of projects
* Project success factors and characteristics

INDIVIDUAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* The management of stakeholders including the project team roles and responsibilities
* Project roles and responsibilities

PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROCESS

* Project planning and control cycle
* Methods and processes available to plan a project
* Methods and processes available to control a project

How you will learn

The day will provide a basic knowledge and understanding of the principles of Project Management and there will be opportunities to try out these principles and practices by undertaking group work, activities and case studies.
