The Award in Door Supervision consists of four units:
This door supervision qualification is the new four-day training. The qualification is based on the SIA’s standards and on good practice in training and assessment, and is awarded on successful completion of four units.
The first courses are scheduled for September 2011 and will run both weekends and weekdays.
When these places are filled, the course will still be offered for just £170.00 per person including exams and certification.
The Award in Security Guarding consists of three units:
On offer is a Level 2 Award in Security Guarding and the Level 2 Award in Door Supervision which provides the core competency skills to enable learners to progress, as a security officer, retail security officer, man guard, key holder and event stewarding. Successful completion of this course entitles you to apply for a SIA licence.
This security guard course is the new three day, 26-hour training, and there will be no additional training costs. It includes learning materials exam and certification fees.
The qualification, endorsed by the SIA and regulated by Ofqual, is awarded on successful completion of three units:
· Working in the Private Security Industry
· Working as a Security Officer
· Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry
