What topics are covered by the course?

We offer a range of water and land based qualifications and experience including kayaking, white water rafting, canyonning, climbing, duckys, mountain biking as well as health and safety topics such as risk assessment and child protection.

Who should attend?

The course is suitable for beginners in the outdoors as well as those with experience who need to gain further qualifications.

What will I be able to do on completion?

Depending on outcomes, the student can expect to lead or assist on a good range of outdoor activities. They will have been taught skills and techniques for introducing others into outdoor activities as well as progressed personal skills and abilities.

How will I be assessed?

NGB qualifications will be assessed on externally run assessment days. Continual assessment will operate throughout the course in all other areas.

You will also get training and experience in canyoning, duckys, high ropes courses and teambuilding.
All these combine to produce a course that will give you an excellent skills base for employers and a fun and challenging experience to start your career in the outdoor industry.
There are also options for work experience or a paid position at the end of the course.
