This qualification is now mandatory for all new Door Supervisors. SIA operatives with an existing Door Supervisor licence may also be required to gain this qualification as a condition of licence renewal, get the qualification today in preperation.

As of September 2010 the SIA requires Door Supervisors to be trained in Physical Intervention in order to gain a new licence. Door Supervisor training now includes a fourth day dedicated to Physical Intervention.
Existing Door Supervisors at the present time do not require this training, however we are finding that many would like to add Physical Intervention skills to their skill-set in order to meet employer requirements or to improve their professional skills and competence. This course is designed to meet those requirements.
