You'll leave the workshop with your own personal development plan and a toolkit of techniques to turn that plan into action. You will also leave the workshop with a buzz and with a great sense of achievement. You will also be able to speak with more confidence and listen carefully to build rapport - analyse and utilise body language to your advantage - steer conversations and influence people - have the confidence to make more of an impact on your audience - enhance your professionalism at work …and have had a fun time doing it.
During the day you’ll cover getting to know the group - how do you see yourself? - what makes a good communicator? - develop a greater awareness of your voice - how to speak more confidently - how to develop a more expressive tone of voice - understand how the voice conveys meaning - how to use your voice to influence your listener - how to appear more approachable and confident - how to use the power of eye contact - how to be more in control of your body language - how to create an immediate impression - use voice and body language to your advantage - give a short individual presentation with feedback - identify your preferred style of communicating - become sensitive to other people's styles - how to enhance your message - understand the barriers to good listening - how to listen effectively to build rapport - questioning techniques to aid understanding - identify key personal strengths - set targets for personal development - workshop review.
