This basic make-up 1 day course has been tailor made by a pro make-up artist who knows what professionals want and how students like to learn. 10 years industry experience including photographic, Hollywood film & television, theatre and wedding environments coupled with 6 years of further education teaching means that you can be assured that you are in the best hands. A variety of learning styles are catered for with both theory and practical work playing important roles in learning how to create a stunning basic make-up on any client.

This BABTAC approved 1-day course is available on a day and at a location to suit you (subject to health and safety requirements and your model's suitability checks). The course is available as private one-to-one or small group training and lasts no longer than 8 hours (breaks included). It is provided by a fully qualified industry professional with further educations teaching qualifications. This basic make-up course starts with theory such as relevant anatomy and physiology, product information, face shapes and health and safety. Practical work will involve the student applying a basic make-up in stages on their chosen model. Successful completion of a short open book question paper in conjunction with satisfactory make-up application will result in the student gaining certification which is recognised by the leading industry body. The student must provide their own model and own make-up products and tools. This will be discussed before booking and payment must be made in advance. Course dates are negotiable and can be altered in exceptional circumstances (no later than 48 hours before agreed training date). This course an ideal basis for Homespa advanced make-up courses and includes Homespa student aftercare.
