This course is aimed at Consultant Rheumatologists, SpRs in rheumatology and Allied Health Professionals who have attended the BSR Basic Ultrasound Course and regularly use ultrasound.
Please note that delegates are required to have previously attended a Basic Ultrasound Course and regularly carry out scanning within their day to day work.

This two day course aims to build upon the knowledge already gained from the Basic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course. The programme will provide a comprehensive review of regional musculoskeletal ultrasound. The emphasis will be on the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of musculoskeletal pathology and the pitfalls of interpretation. The faculty will consist primarily of consultants in clinical rheumatology. Candidates will have adequate opportunities to assess patients during the practical sessions of the programme.
