Features
A half-day induction and 6 separate one-day workshops (non-residential) spread over an 8 month period.
2 separate 1:1 support/coaching sessions with the tutor (each session lasting up to 3 hours).
Completion of a work-based assignment.
Leadership mentoring/executive coaching practice in the workplace (supervised by Tutor). This will lead to the compilation of a reflective coaching & mentoring diary.
On top of this, we also offer
A confidential helpline to the tutor throughout the duration of the programme.
A celebratory dinner at the end of the programme.
A wide variety of materials to support your development, e.g. books, reference points, articles, etc.
Subscription to a computer-based support resource.
Personality profiling (with feedback and report) using a psychometric testing tool.
Upon successful completion of the programme, and following submission of a portfolio of evidence (including a practical work-based assignment) participants will be entered for the ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring. Participants will also be eligible to apply for full membership of the Institute (MInstLM).
Approach
The programme is highly participative with much emphasis upon learning by doing. You will be offered a wide range of tips/techniques, theories and frameworks to stimulate your learning. Your personal commitment must be to open your mind, try new things and be prepared to try again if you dont succeed first time round.
Participants will share experiences and benefit from networking and peer support in addition to personal tutor support. We use 'real play' not role play - participants bring real life challenges with them and find solutions to them during the programme, using the skills and knowledge gained and shared. You will also have fun and learn in a high energy environment!
