By the end of the course, participants will:
• Be able to define what is meant by a Project Leader and what leadership skills they should demonstrate
• Understand how to select suitable members of a project team
• Have looked at the ‘plan, do, review’ framework in more detail, some of the tools involved, and using them in a ‘real’ environment
• Know more clearly how to balance the demands of a project with their day-to-day role and be successful in both.
• Know how to set clear and realistic objectives for a project
• Understand how to effectively monitor, control and adjust a project within the constraints of budget and time
• Understand the need for risk analysis within the planning and running of a project
• Know how to structure a project report, including summarising the return on investment and celebrating success
