It is a requirement of Health & Safety law that employers provide a safe & healthy environment for their employees. If the assessment of First Aid needs highlights a requirement for qualified “First Aiders”, then this course will provide you with suitable trained First Aid personnel able to deliver qualified First Aid provision within the workplace.
This comprehensive three day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, ensuring all delegates are able to deal with such emergencies in a prompt, safe and affective manner.
Upon successful completion, participants will gain a qualification to the highest level of First Aid within the workplace, meeting the statutory requirements of the “Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981” (effective from 1st October 2009).
A minimum of 18 hours guided learning is spread over at least 3 days. Ideally, the course should be run over 3 consecutive days, but we do have the flexibility to accommodate your specific requirements. Course syllabus includes:

CERTIFICATION: Certification is through written and practical assessments as per H.S.E requirements, this qualification is valid for a period of 3 years.
NUMBERS: Normally a maximum of 12 students can be accommodated on this course and must be aged a minimum of 16 years or above. However, for large organisations we can train groups of up to 24 students, please see the details below.
