This event supports organisations to develop positive approaches to risk rather than defensive ones. Defensive approaches are often developed to protect reputation and prevent potential litigation and have a negative impact on the lives of individuals.
Implementing a positive risk taking framework enables people to do the things which are important to them and can significantly improve the quality of life of individuals and constitutes best practice in terms of promoting dignity, autonomy, and respect.
