Entry criteria
There are no formal entry requirements but a good standard of written English is essential.
Students who have achieved a pass in the Management of Health and Safety Paper (Paper A1) of the NEBOSH National General Certificate, or Part 1 or Part 2 of the old National Diploma or Unit A of the new National Diploma within the last 5 years, will be exempted from the Management of Health and Safety paper of the Fire Certificate.
Assessment
The assessment consists of an examination and a practical fire risk assessment of a workplace.
