Entry criteria
There are no specific entry requirements for the Environmental Diploma but some knowledge of the English legal system is recommended (such as might be covered in the NEBOSH National General Certificate, National Diploma, etc.). Working in a current position with health, safety or environmental responsibilities would also be a distinct advantage.
In addition, the workplace-based project involves an environmental audit of the activities of an organisation so you must have access to such a workplace.
Assessment
The assessment consists of a 3-hour examination and a project consisting of an environmental audit.
Exams can be taken in London, Coventry, Falkirk and Worldwide via Briritsh Council Offices.
