Trainer Training Duration : Two Days Who should attend : Anyone who works in a training coaching capacity and passes on technical, theoretical or practical knowledge and information. Objective : To enable participants to understand how people learn and to effectively pass on knowledge or information whilst keeping the full attention of a group or individual. Outcomes At the end of this training programme participants will be able to : Understand the areas in which training can be effective Understand the role of the workplace trainer Evaluate the skills of an effective trainer and establish a personal action plan Examine various training methods and styles and their application to ensure that trainees do not lose interest or enthusiasm Understand how adults learn Design, prepare and deliver a training session Monitor performance and use feedback effectively The programme is participative and involves discussion in small groups, trainer input and practical exercises to consolidate the learning.
