The Confined Space Regulations 1997 apply when it is necessary for workers to carry out work in a confined space including a chamber, tank, flue, vat, silo, pit, trench, pipe, sewer, well, or other similar space in which by virtue of its enclosed nature, there arises a reasonably foreseeable specified risk.

To be competent to work safely in confined spaces, adequate training and experience in the particular work involved is essential. Training standards must be appropriate to the task and to the individuals role and responsibilities, so that work can be carried out safely. Course Content: 1 Day Awareness Training Definition / Legislation; Selection of Operators; Risk Assessment; Access Equipment and PPE Procedures / Permits to work; Hygiene / Diseases; Practical Training; Assessment; Emergency procedures; Breathing apparatus and Escape Sets; Rescue >>> ALl of our breathing apparatus is brand new and our Confined Spaces training Unit is a custom built 40 foot mobile lorry trailer which can be driven to your site for day rate training.
