This ASP.net2 Training course uses the free Visual Web Developer Express Edition tool available from Microsoft to introduce ASP.NET dynamic web application development. The free SQL Express (also from Microsoft) is used for the database and best practice is encouraged throughout. You need to know about static web sites. Some knowledge of a web coding language (e.g. old-style ASP or JavaScript) would help. Visual Basic (VB) is used as the coding language, but very little code is written by hand.
