A Foundation knowledge of food hygiene is recommended before attendance. Course content The course is informal and will cover topics including : ¥ Food safety management ¥ Hazards ¥ Benefits of HACCP ¥ Prerequisites for HACCP ¥ Implementation ¥ Monitoring ¥ Definitions Course book and a comprehensive delegate pack will be provided. Duration The course is approximately 6-9 hours in duration and conducted during one day. The examination is a multiple choice test of 45 minutes in duration taken on the same day. Qualification All successful candidates will receive the Foundation Certificate in HACCP Principles. NVQ Level 1 equivalent. Progression Intermediate Certificate in Applied HACCP Principles
