The construction industry is booming and according to official figures from the construction Industry Training Board 450,000 new recruits will be needed by 2007 to meet demand. If you are contemplating entering the industry there has never been a better time.
The cost of the course includes Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) comprising of safety boots, overalls, hi-visibility vest, safety hat, safety glasses and gloves. The client can keep their PPE at the end of the course so they have the correct safety clothing when they start work. You would not be allowed to work on site without PPE why should a training centre be different.

Further Details
This is a practical basic 4 day that includes a 15 minute safety induction. The course includes working to specifications, setting out according to plans and drawings. Installing floor and head track as well as other associated metalwork. Boarding by mechanically fixing boards and cutting where necessary. Demonstration of basic hand taping and jointing and feathering techniques ensuring walls are prepared for decoration.
