This NVQ is at Level 7 in the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) and replaces the NVQ Level 5 Construction Management and Level 5 Construction Project Management.
Work responsibilities should be across a broad range of activities with a very substantail degree of personal responsibility and autonomy. Work responsibilities may include managing projects from inception to completion, or any number of activities at this Senior Level. Candidates are likely to hold a senior position within a company eg Director, Construction Manager, or Project Manager.

This NVQ is at Level 7 in the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) and replaces the NVQ Level 5 Construction Management and Level 5 Construction Project Management. Learners must complete all units in Group A to achieve 59 credits and then select units from two of the three optional groups to achieve a total of 144 credits. The optional groups are 1) Project development, 2) Procurement contrats and budgets, and 3) Project Control.
Candidates can start the NVQ at a time convenient to them as there are no fixed start dates. The average length of time to complete this NVQ is 12-15 months but is dependant on the amount of time a candidate has available to work on it.
