ASD: Strategies for Literacy and Mathematics

Conventional approaches to literacy and mathematics are often ineffective when working with children with ASD diagnoses. In this course, a mixture of practical work, and taught sessions are used along with opportunities to share experiences to help you look at the world through the eyes of your ASD pupil. A range of materials are used, many of which are already easily accessible through the national Strategies or websites and books. Information is collated to enable participants to have a selection of resources at their fingertips.
