This module is accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management and successful completion will mean that you will achieve the Level 2 Award in Team Leading.

By the end of this module you will:
* Understand the role and responsibilities of a manager.
* Have identified the key skills and attributes of successful managers.
* Have learnt some techniques to plan and prioritise your work.
* Be able to apply skills and techniques to effectively communicate.
* Be able to apply effective coaching and feedback techniques to build potential, performance and confidence.

The learning approach
Learning is in a variety of formats, for example, face to face courses and workshops, e-learning, research, and practical exercises.

Assessment
Following each of the face to face workshops, you will be required to complete a paper assessment. You will also be required to submit a reflective summary of 500 words. The final assessment day consists of an oral presentation which will be discussed with you.
