The Certificate Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment is a qualification based on the IEE’s Code of Practice for in-service inspection and testing electrical equipment. Note: This qualification should not be confused with the Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391), which is aimed at installations of entire buildings rather than portable appliances. This qualification is aimed at practising electricians involved in the inspection and testing of electrical equipment (e.g. portable appliances) and/or those involved in managing the process of it.

The course is suitable for anyone who undertakes inspection and testing of portable appliances as well as anyone involved in the administration and management of PAT. Although the course has a substantial theritical content, the delivery is spread over 2 days giving sufficient time for practical appliaction and assessment.
All candidates will be automatically registered for the online 2377-200 exam and for an additional fee £50.00 + VAT, candidates can be entered for the management exam (2377-100).
