How you will learn
Learning activities will be carried out both in the classroom and in the workplace. The College’s Resource Centre will be available, and various teaching aids will be used.
How you will be assessed
Students will be assessed by computer based assessments and projects or work-based evidence supported by a testimonial from a line manager.
Entry Requirements
You will need to have successfully completed the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
Students will need an appropriate level of literacy and numeracy to enable them to meet the requirements of independent study at this level. In the absence of formal qualifications this may be ascertained through the Wakefield College screening process.
Attendance
The course is offered by two modes of attendance per Level:-
Day Release - one whole day each week.
Evenings only - two evenings each week.
Attendance will be required during the day for between five and seven sessions for computer based examinations.
At present the days of attendance for Level 4 are Tuesday and Thursday evenings or Tuesday daytime (12 months).
