The programme covers the process from identifying a vacancy through writing job descriptions and person specifications, sifitng and shortlisitng, choosing selection tools,planning and conducting interviews and final assessment of candidates. All stages are examined but emphasis is place on preparing for and carrying out face-to-face interviews. Questioning techniques and style will be covered along iwht non-verbal communication and dealing with difficult interviewees. ALl delegates will have the opportuniy to practice their skills. The programme is guaranteed to improve delegates' effectiveness as interviewers and hence the effectiveness of the organisation by delivering the right people at the end of the process.
