This CITP programme is the first step in the professional qualification structure offered by the CIPD. Whilst recognising the previous skills and knowledge participants may bring with them, it is a ‘core competency’ programme and therefore assumes no prior experience. It uses a ‘building blocks’ approach enabling participants to attain high levels of effectiveness within their own organisation.
This programme will provide much of the required underpinning skills and knowledge for those wishing to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Training and Development. However, it should be noted that successful completion of the Certificate does not entitle the student to an NVQ at level 3.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This programme is the entry-level qualification in this field. There are no conditions of entry but the candidate must have a competent grasp of the English language, be able to develop and write unaided the assignment and project work, as part of the programme. This is a demanding programme and the Certificate is not awarded just for attendance. There are several assessments that must all be passed and are detailed later in this information pack. If you would like to discuss in greater detail the content and requirements of the programme please do not hesitate to contact the programme manager here at Woodland Grange.
