Trade-Skills have a designated Locksmithing Centre based in Newcastle. We understand this may require certain delegates to travel considerable distances for the training, so all our course prices include suitable accommodation. We run three accredited locksmithing courses:
- Skills for Security - 2 day Intermediate Locksmith Training
- City & Guilds - 5 day Advanced Locksmith Training (Includes Access Control)
- City & Guilds - 2 day Advanced Auto Course

Trainees benefit from 26 years of experience, which has been boiled down into precise and highly developed courses, giving them an opportunity to maximize their potential and income as professional locksmiths. We have a pass rate of 98%!
As the main learning strategy is demonstration by example the purposely designed unit is fully equipped with lock types and displays so that trainees are given a clear understanding of the mechanism and structure of each type of locking system encountered. As many of our trainees attend from outside the UK we ensure that the unit is also equipped with the type of locks used in different countries around the world.
All courses include the following:
· A comprehensive set of training notes, which includes vehicle opening, drill points and professional advice on business start up.
· All Certificates upon successful completion of the course.
· A security identification card (bring your own passport size photograph)
· Transport to and from the training venue and the Hotel.
· A light lunch on all days & tea and coffee during training.
· A substantial lock opening kit
