In understanding NLP we often talk about the fundamental Presuppositions – the Attitude of NLP – which inspire a methodology, from which flow many specific techniques and applications.

Whilst at Watt Works we guide our students in developing fluency in the NLP techniques, we constantly encourage them to keep sight of and embody the Presuppositions and methodology. These touchstones give Practitioners much greater flexibility and an ability to respond creatively when a specific technique perhaps does not produce the expected result.

We also stress the importance of learning and applying NLP within an ethical framework and with an awareness of the ecology of the approaches used.
